Launch Tournament Rules
- The Launch Tournament takes place between 1st and 21st of July, 2024.
- There are two different reward models for the Launch Tournament Event.
- IMX TOKEN AIRDROP
- Contestants can earn additional rewards solely by participating. $IMX Token Airdrop is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to 10,000 tickets.
- TOURNAMENT PRIZE POOL
- The main tournament reward is set by a growing prize pool that increases with each participant. In addition to the starting prize pool of $50,000 worth of $JAN, 48% of all ticket sales go directly to the Launch Tournament Prize Pool. 60% of the Base Reward pool is set as the Tournament Ranking Rewards, while 40% is reserved for a lottery in $JAN for the 1,000 lottery winners. Multiple ticket purchases mean additional entries for the lottery. Contestants placed in the top 10 rankings are exempt from the lottery.
- IMX TOKEN AIRDROP
- The tournament is Player-versus-Player (PvP) based, and matchmaking criteria are through the Tournament PVP Mode interface. Matches played in other game modes do not count.
- There is no limit to how many matches a player can play.
- To be eligible for the Tournament Ranking Rewards, players must have played at least 100 matches. There is no upper limit to how many matches a player can play.
- Players gain additional lottery entries based on the number of matches played
Matches Played Entry Rights 0-100 5 Lottery Entries 101-200 10 Lottery Entries 201-300 20 Lottery Entries 301-400 40 Lottery Entries 401-500 60 Lottery Entries 501+ 80 Lottery Entries - If a player disconnects during a match, that player loses the current game.
- Players are ranked according to the GLICKO-2 Rating system.
- The Leaderboard is displayed on stormwarfare.com, with hourly updates. The Leaderboard only displays players' rankings..
- Matches that end prematurely do not count towards the total match count.
- Any attempt to manipulate the system may result in disqualification from the Tournament. Janus Interactive reserves the right to dismiss/ban any player from the tournament should they be determined to violate the Tournament terms.
- At the end of the tournament, the final standings are determined and revealed after the final review performed by the Janus Interactive Fair Play Committee.
